One such comic drama movie is on the way, namely – “A Madea Homecoming.” Written and directed by Tyler Perry movie is the twelfth installment to the “Madea” franchise.

However, since Tyler Perry had announced the retirement of the character Madea in 2019 audience had lost hope to see their favorite character onscreen, but last year Perry revealed that he is coming back with another installment to the franchise.

The twelfth installment to the Madea franchise is supposed to contain an LGBTQ storyline. Fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting for the movie to come onscreen. As revealed earlier, the movie will stream on the Netflix video streaming service.

Release Date And Time: “A Madea Homecoming”

On January 18, 2022, i.e., Tuesday, the video streaming hub announced that the movie would premiere on the platform on February 25, 2022, i.e., Friday. As per the streaming giant, the movie will come on air at the prescheduled time, i.e., 12:00 a.m. PT (Pacific Time) or 3:00 a.m. ET (Eastern Time).

If you’re a night person, you’ll have no trouble staying up late to watch this Netflix film. But if you’re used to going to bed early, you may struggle a bit. However, even if you’re not a night person, you don’t need to worry as you can watch the movie later. It’ll be there on the Netflix list.

The story will, as usual, revolve around Madea and her humor. As the official synopsis provided by the streaming giant Netflix claims, the story starts with Madea gearing up to invite her family to her town to celebrate her great-grandson’s graduation day. And then it shows how some buried mysteries endanger derail the happy family reunion.

Produced by Will Areu and Mark Swinton, this comedy movie cast will feature some known faces who will join the franchise to reprise their role from previous installments.

Other than Tyler Perry, who will reprise his role as Madea, the list includes names like Brendan O’Carrol as Agnes Brown, Brandon Black as Tim, Isha Blaaker, Gabrielle Dennis as Laura, Geneva Maccarone as Sylvia, Amani Atkinson, David Mann as Mr. Brown, David Mann, Tamela J. Mann as Cora Simmons, Cassi Davis-Patton as Aunt Bam, Jennifer Gibney as Cathy brown, and Candace Maxwell as Ellie.
