Chainsaw Man is a story about a simple guy named Denji who desires to live a simple life and expects simple things in life. But things turned upside down for him when he had to work tooth and nail to pay off his father’s debts. He is forced to kill devils as a part of the deal with the Yakuza. His only gift was his part devil dog Pochita who helps him in his journey to kill the devils.
But sadly, he was killed by a devil who the Yakuza sent as he was no longer used to them. Then, in an unexpected turn of events, Pochita merges with Denji’s body to grant him supernatural powers. Now, Denji was able to turn his body parts in chainsaws and take revenge on his enemies.

For Denji, who was going through the worst possible situations, transforming his body parts into chainsaws was a gift for him. The supernatural powers in him would help tackle any devils trying to harm him and his close ones.
However, the best part for him as a Chainsaw man was getting appointed to work with the official devil hunters at the Public Safety Bureau. He was now able to help the masses from the bad guys with the tag of being a hero for everyone. With his abilities, Denji is determined to erase all the obstacles on his way. But, will he ever be able to live the simple life that he dreamt about?
From Where is the Storyline Taken?
The storyline of Chainsaw Man is taken from the manga Chainsaw Man written by Tatsuki Fujimoto of Japan. The manga, as of now, has completed its first arc, which has 97chapters compiled into 11 volumes. The second arc, as per Fujimoto, will be released soon in 2022. Furthermore, a trailer of the Chainsaw Man was released on June 27, 2021, confirming its release anytime soon.
The Japanese animation studio MAPPA will be creating the show. The same studio gave the fans masterpieces like Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and Zombie Land Saga. The show is confirmed to be released in October 2022 by its makers. It is expected to make its debut on-screen either on the 9th or October 16, 2022. So it’s just a matter of a few months now!

Characters of Chainsaw Man
The leads are Denji and his devil dog Pochita. The other characters include Makima, the head of the Public Safety Division who takes Denji into work as a devil hunter; Aki Hayakawa, a colleague and subordinate of Makima in the Public Safety Division and Power, who also has special powers like Denji to kill the devils.
Ryu Nakayama directs the anime series, and the script director is Hiroshi Seko. Kazutaka Sugiyama designs the characters of the show.
