Takeru turns behind and realizes that it is Sumika. Sumika then recalls that at this hour, Takeru has to be home. Knowing the current situation, Takeru realizes that Sumika might suspect that something isn’t right, so he should behave as if he is living with her. She ponders upon Takeru’s utter silence and asks him if everything is okay. Takeru tells her that he has been in a different state lately and had been getting trained in the military.
Sumika, still unsure, touches his head to check his fever, believing that Takeru has been playing video games for quite some time now. She worries about his unending addiction to video games.
