This is a Japanese series that involves romance and comedy. This is one of the most loved anime TV series. The show was initially released on October 7, 2021. They would be going in for a new season soon enough. And fans wish for when and how the other episodes will proceed. Episode 9 is all set to be released on December 1, 2021.
About the Show
The show is divided into two parts. The first one being – Muv-Luv Extra. In this, there’s a character named Takeru Shirogane. Something is interesting about him, though. He wakes up one morning just to find himself in bed with a beautiful woman! Takeru’s childhood friend stays near his house, and the friend comes to wake him up that morning. Her name is Sumika Kagami she’s really mad at this sight.
Who is that Young Woman?
The young woman is named Meiya Mitsurugi. She’s the heir to a very financially powerful family. And she wishes to be married to Takeru. In the story, we see that both these two women are behind Takeru, and they are constantly trying to win him. But Takeru has dreams about a promise he made to a girl about marrying her.
Now he’s confused because first, he thought it might be Sumika, but the arrival of Meiya made him believe that maybe she’s the girl who he sees in his dream.
How will Takeru Decide?
Takeru now has to put his intelligence into the test and marry the girl who genuinely loves him. And also the one whom he truly loves.
The Second Part
The second part is – Muv-Luv Unlimited. This part also begins with Takeru waking up in his bed and realizing that neither Sumika nor Meiya came to wake him up that morning. As he leaves his house, he sees that the neighbors have brought Sumika’s house down. But later, he realizes that he’s in an alternative world.
What is this World About?
This world contains BETA (Brings of extra-terrestrial origin which are Adversary of the human race). These aliens have taken upon mankind here and have demolished everything. Now the humans have to fight back.
What is Muv-Luv unlimited about?
This part tells us about the origin of the BETA. How they arrived on this planet, and how they have been surviving this long. And about those various battles that have been fought between them and the humans, which has reduced the earth’s population.
