Manga lovers got yet another news to rejoice. Your current fad anime series Sakugan is all set to release in the upcoming weeks. Sakugan, also titled Sacks & Guns, is a widely popular Japanese manga series that was first premiered in Manga UP! on August 13, 2021. The comic series was published by Square Enix and was originally written by Keisuke Sato. The comic that later got adapted into a television series comes under the science-fiction/robot genre has already become widely popular as of now.
Written and directed by Jun’ichi Wada, Sakugan was released by Satellite Studio on October 7, 2021, on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11. Sakugan reveals the lives of people in a distant future who are forced to live in a place known as the Labyrinth, and the rest of the story showcases how crisis emerges from people’s discomfort to live in the Labyrinth.

What was Previously on Sakugan?
Sakugan bought the 8th episode titled “Memories & Regrets!” made a perfect gateway to the latest one. In episode 8, a recurrent nightmare is followed by Memenpu showing violence and lose of Gagumber. Gagumber sees Zakletu taking care of Yuri, after which the latter got infected by a poisonous plant. Gagumber makes sure Yuri is perfectly alright and tells her the city is very boring, making her wonder whether he had a Déjà vu.
Zakletu later ensures him that Yuri is slowly recovering from the infection, but she prescribes a good sleep to get over other hangovers. Gagumber, on the other hand, has no clues regarding Memenpu. He had already been an angry man to her, which made Zakletu ask him to apologize to Memenpu, which Gagumber denies by saying that he did nothing wrong.
Gagumber also rejects the idea of Zakletu of he and Memnpu of being partners. Yuri finally wakes up, and Zakletu finds out that Gagumber, on the outside being tough, is actually a sweet guy who cares about others.
Which are the Characters You Need to Know Before Watching Sakugan?
The prime character of the anime is Memenpu, Gamgumber’s daughter, who is an incredibly intelligent child having doctorates from several universities. She wants to be a Marker of a tower, which she usually sees, making her odd from her father’s preferences. Gagumber is a single father who raises his daughter Memenpu, was a Marker of the tower Memenpu recurrently sees.
He finds the job dangerous, and he always resists his daughter’s ambition to become a Marker herself. Zakletuis, a thief who directs the Labyrinth, saves Gagumber’s life in exchange for a huge amount of money. As Gagumber couldn’t repay his debt, Zakletu demands that she join his journey until she receives her returns.
Yuri is a hacker who belongs to a team of hackers that is stamped as worthless by the government. Joins Gagumber after he helps her on a mission.
