Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is set to release in the theatres on 16th December 2022, four years later the first movie’s release. The Movie will not be released on HBO Max simultaneously as the other Warner Bros films. According to some reports, Warner Bros has agreed to a deal with the distributors of the cinema, and the Movie will be presented to the big screen only for forty- five days only. In all probability, the film will be available on HBO Max after being removed from the silver screen. However, the film may get delayed due to the pandemic as the world has not overcome the virus.
The Cast of Aquaman 2
- Jason Momoa: Jason Momoa will be playing the role of Arthur Curry/ Aquaman. He is the half-Atlantean king of Atlantis who can swim rapidly and talk to underwater creatures.
- Amber Heard: Amber Heard will play Mera, the princess of Xebel kingdom. She can control water with hydrokinesis, and she can talk to Atlanteans with the help of telepathy.
- Patrick Wilson: Patrick Wilson will play Orm Marius/ Ocean Master’s role as the step-brother and the former Atlantean king.
- Yahya Abdul-Mateen II: Abdul-Mateen II will star as David Kane/ Black Manta; he is a merciless freebooter who uses an Atlantean- powered suit.
- Temuera Morrison: He will play the role of Arthur’s father and a lighthouse keeper.

The ending of the first Aquaman movie has opened the door for a sequel of Movie. In the sequel, the fans can perceive Jason Momoa and Amber Heard as Aquaman and Mera. Specific reports say Aquaman 2 movie will be made with a PG-13 rating because Aquaman is not known for strong violence, foul language, or dark sense of humor.
Can we Expect Any Team-Up in the Universe?
Even though Justice League did well at the box office, the filmmakers are not very interested in working together for a superhero team-up sort of Movie like the ‘Avengers.’ One of the officials stated how the DC universe focuses their films on being stand-alone.
