As The Gods Will is a Japanese series and is divided into two parts. This manga series is penned by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and exemplified by Akeji Fujimura. The series basically deals with the characters’ psychology and was released in the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine initially by Kodansha. The series attracted people on quite a large scale, which led to the release of a film of the same name in 2014.
The film is based on the first part of the series and was fabricated by Yusuke Ishiguro, Shigeji Maeda, Misako Saka, and Hisashi Usui under the direction of Takashi Miike.
Release Date
The film got its release date on October 18, 2014, at the Rome Film Festival and on November 15, 2014, in Japan theatres. The film was hit within a week and indeed collected millions of money.

Plot
The film starts with Shun Takahata being forced to participate in a game named Daruma-san ga koronda. The game’s challenge is to press a button on the Daruma doll before the time runs out. Everyone dies due to not being able to follow the instruction and end the game on time except Shun. After this game ended, Shun and his other friends took part in a game named ManekiNeko, where they had to aim a ball in the hook attached to a huge cat figure.
Takeru Amaya helps to win the game but gets pleasure seeing so many deaths around him. Shun and Ichika are also alive till now. In the next part, the three of them lose their sense of inhaling sleeping gas they were totally unaware of. The next game they play is named Kagome Kagome, which is indeed a tough one. The survivors of the game are Shun, Ichika, Eji Oku, and Kotaro Maeda.
Such games continue to take place until Shun starts believing that there is no God; if there had been, He would not have let these happen. As soon as he states it, a Matryoshka doll states, such games actually lead them to God, and He had been an observer of such events since it started.
