About Binti Novel And Its Adaptational Release On Netflix
“Binti” is the first novel in a three-book volume set to win a Hugo and Nebula award. This book is the first installment of the volume and has 2017’s “Binti: Home” and 2018’s “Binti: The Night Masquerade” as sequels.
The film has had its cast and crew members given a lot of time to make this a successful show. Let’s hope for the Tanzanian filmmakers to achieve success this year with the release on NETFLIX (worldwide) on January 7, 2022.
Challenges Faced While Producing Binti
One of the biggest challenges faced was working during the post-production period. Like most of the releases had it, the covid-19 widespread affected the deadlines for Binti too. The pandemic completely disrespected our deadline. The movie was originally edited in Tanzania and further went to LA for more editing. The film then traveled to Egypt for sound and to India for VFX effects.
