Chaos is a thriller film of UAE which aired on December 15, 2005, and is 106 minutes long. The film is fabricated by Michael Derbas, Gavin Wilding, and Huw Penalt Jones under the direction of Tony Giglio, who is also the penman of this film. The production companies aiding the film’s creation are Mobius International Epsilon Motion Pictures, Current Entertainment, Rampage Entertainment, Chaotic Productions, and Pierce/Williams Entertainment and is distributed by Capitol Films and Lionsgate.
The story deals with Quentin Conner and his companion Jason who goes into trouble when being assigned the charge to arrest a criminal, Lorenz.
Plot
The story revolves around the protagonist Conners (Jason Statham), who gets suspended. His companion York gets fired when the former tried to save themselves from a criminal named John and killed him. York should have gunned John down, but instead, he killed the hostage because he got fired from his post.
However, Conners soon gets reassigned when the department needs him to arrest a criminal named Lorenzo, but this time he is made to go along with Shane Dekker. Conners is charged to sort things out, and to negotiate and go in, and he orders to cut the electricity of the bank where Lorenz wants to talk with Conners.
However, the two fail to communicate well with each other due to the struggles that took place, and Lorenz finds an opportunity to escape. Meanwhile, there grows a gradual development between Dekker and Conners, but it seems Dekker disapproves of several methods of Conners. Suspense evolves when they get to know about a hacker but could not succeed in questioning him as Lorenz kills the hacker, but he himself again manages to get out of the grip of the detectives.
It is soon revealed that Lorenz is actually the brother of John, whom Conner kills in the initial part of the film, and Lorenz’s actual name is Scott Curtis. York, too, has a vital role in the story but, in the end, gets killed by Dekker. It seems that Conners actually was not such a good man as anticipated by the audience, and indeed there is a lot of chaos and riddles which Dekker could actually get to know in the very end.
The film is well structured, and the disguises of people are indeed to be appreciated. The story is highly twisted, yet in the end, all links seem appropriate.
Jason Statham’s 2005 Flop is Netflix Hit in 2021
Jason Statham has always been one of the favorites of the audience to date. Whenever one hears his name in a movie, they are sure he will provide a blockbuster film. Nusair was not at all pleased with the movie and stated that the film lacks originality. Radio Times, too was not much pleased with the overall structure of the film. Stantham’s acting was also not up to the mark for them, at least. However, few fans did saw Jason Statham doing an excellent job and praised him for his acting and all his efforts in the film. Rodney Twelftree also came in support of Statham and praised him.
