Christmas with the Kranks follows the storyline that how Luther Krank and Nora Krank completely boycott the festivities to be celebrated at their place. This decision was taken by the couple when their daughter, Blair, went to a peace corps assignment in Peru.

She went to Peru after Thanksgiving, and just when she left, her parents started feeling a sense of loneliness and thought that there was no point in celebrating such holidays in the absence of their daughter. Instead, the couple decided to go for a ten-day trip on a Caribbean cruise.

Due to their decision not to celebrate Christmas and not decorate their place, the neighbors started considering them as an outcast. Though, their neighbors Vic and Walt were very much determined to force the couple to decorate their home a celebrate Christmas. Vic even started a campaign so he could force the Kranks to decorate their place. On the other hand, Walt has some personal reasons to force them as he doesn’t like Luther.

Did The Kranks Finally Celebrate Christmas?

Well, on Christmas Eve, when both Luther and Nora are just about to leave, Nora receives a call from their daughter and surprises her parents by saying that she is on her way back home along with her fiancée. Then she even asked her parents that whether they were having a Christmas party or not, and to that, Nora panicked and said yes.

After that, amongst much chaos, they finally managed to hold a Christmas party at their place by decorating the house and everything. After all this drama, Luther finally realizes that he is ever going to boycott the festivities ever again.
