The Boys season 1 aired in 2019 on Amazon Prime and it is not your average superhero TV Show but it is dark, murky that doesn’t shy away from showing gory blood scenes fights, and explicit language. Kimiko in the Boys has been one of the most indestructible supes on the show at least once before. But in the latest episode (10th June 2022) her life seems to be in danger for the first time in the show.
He is fed up with her abilities, she can heal quickly and is indestructible in front of guns or even stabs. She is fed up because she wanted to have a normal childhood but being sure took that away from her.
In the latest episode, she is attacked by the Soldier Boy and it looks like she will get her death wish which will come with consequences.
Does Kimiko Die in The Boys?
At the end of episode 4, it looks like Kimiko has lost her ability, she cannot heal quickly when Soldier Boy attacks her (of course he is not dead). It looks like Butcher and the Gang is after a Russian weapon and that Russian weapon is super. Furthermore, the use is thought to have died a long ago. When the gang pulls him out of that chamber, it looks like he has been in there for 30 long years. The first thing he does is release himself using an atomic light coming from his chest. The light was going to Frenchie but Kimiko jumps in front of him to save him, in the process she gets hit by the light and collapses to the ground.
She doesn’t wake up and she cannot heal herself as she used to before.
Right now it is unsure if she will die there, if the showrunners decide to end her character she will die at the end rather than in the middle as she is important to the Butcher’s gang. So we can expect her to come out alive from the injury.
Does Kimiko Talk on The Boys?
From the last 2 seasons, it is shown that Kimiko is mute and she cannot speak, but in the premiere of Season 3, she sings. Even if the scene is imaginary it is a shining moment for her and her admirers. Now she has lost her power maybe she can speak again. She has not spoken since she saw her parents get killed by some terrorist when was a child.
She has created her sign language to communicate with people since that incident. Her incapacity is not at all related to her superpowers, even if she loses her powers permanently, does it mean that she can speak again?
