Will Phil Mitchell pass away?
The idea that Phil Mitchell will be killed off is likely the least shocking soap teaser in history. Given how often he has avoided death, we wouldn’t be surprised if a future storyline revealed him to be a robot. Although it would be… fascinating, that isn’t on the schedule. Instead, as you might have anticipated, Phil must once more face his death. When he turns another prisoner, Craig, against him, he asks fellow prisoner Ravi for assistance in obtaining a burner phone and subsequently phones his son Ben to ask for a favor.
Later, when Phil attempts to phone Kat, the line disconnects. He and Craig end up fighting, and the guards intervene. Phil meets with Keeble once more and is cautioned to accept her offer, or he won’t survive in prison for very long. Unfortunately, it appears Keeble could be correct as Craig sends him a frightening message claiming Phil will pass away the following day. Returning to Ravi, Phil offers him support in exchange for payment. Craig informs Phil that time is running short, but Keeble dashes any prospects for backup. Phil then passes letters to his family to Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), who is visiting.
Kat Slater Has To Endure More Terror.
Phil is dealing with his stress while an unknown caller is harassing Kat due to their call’s sudden finish. She is horrified when a threat is sent her way by her son Tommy as she is being asked for a favor by Phil (Sonny Kendall). Later, Kat visits Phil in jail while Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) offers her some counsel. Finally, Kat throws a bombshell without realizing what he’s up against, but what is it? Is Kat about to get yet another awful shock, though, while Sharon waits impatiently for word of Phil?
Avery, Mitch Baker’s Brother, Shows Up.
The locals, especially the market vendors, take offense when Avery pulls up in his flashy automobile! Avery calls a meeting at Queen Vic after realizing his poor start. As Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) drags Mitch to the pub, where he is shocked to see Avery, his estranged older brother, Mitch is forced to celebrate his birthday. The family is impressed by Avery, but Mitch refuses to accept him. Mitch snaps at Avery and says he failed to stand up for him when it mattered. Avery apologizes to him and asks Mitch to assist him in finding a job, but Mitch believes his brother is acting dishonestly.
Stacey Slater Fires Kheerat Panesar
After speaking with Eve Unwin, her “wife,” Stacey wonders if her new boyfriend Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol) feels embarrassed by her. She kisses him at the café to test the notion, and she is devastated when he pulls back. Stacey snaps, thinking Kheerat is humiliated by her, and they break up.
Eve gives him some advice on his behavior afterward, but will it change anything? We are aware that Kheerat’s complicated relationship with his mother, Suki, who wants him to find a “decent” marriage, is causing him to be hesitant about marrying Stacey. Will Kheerat take action, though, given that he genuinely wants to be with Stacey?
