Face/off two is rumored to be a sequel to the 1977 movie face/off. The movie face/off is an action thriller. The storyline of the previous face/off movie goes, as an FBI agent and a terrorist are hardcore enemies. The FBI agent wants to seek revenge for his son’s death. While he gets hold of the criminal, he refuses to speak but informs about a bomb planted in the city and goes into a coma. So the FBI agent undergoes plastic surgery, takes the face of the criminal, and goes into the jail and tries to talk to the criminal’s accomplice and get information out of him about the bomb.
The accomplice is unaware that the FBI agent is posing as the terrorist, and therefore gives out information about the bomb. The bomb is disarmed, and everything falls in place when suddenly the criminal wakes up and takes on the face of the FBI agent. The criminal is enraged because the FBI agent has his face. After this point, the movie shows how each has to preserve their own life as the other is trying to ruin it in their name. The movie unravels many secrets.
The movie face/off is directed by John Woo, who is a Chinese producer and screenwriter. He has directed many movies like A Better Tomorrow, released in 1986, and Hard-Boiled, released in 1992. John Woo has won the Saturn award presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, the USA for the Best Director.
