Grand Crew is an American sitcom that premiered on December 14, 2021. As of now, three episodes have been released. Over the years, we have seen all kinds of sitcoms. So what makes Grand Crew special? And you will find it below if you watch it on NBC.
What is Grand Crew About?
The show is about five friends Wyatt Fields, Noah, Nicky, Anthony Holmes, Sherm Jones, and Fay. These friends hang out together at their usual spot in Los Angeles. Each character has their personal sorry and a unique personality. For example, in the first two episodes, we see that Noah is very romantic and believes in love more than anything.
He is dating the waitress in the usual bar they go to. Nicky always makes fun of Noah for the way he feels about his girlfriends. Wyatt is married and happy that he is no longer a bachelor looking for a relationship. These guys stay in the same room together and talk about their feelings.
Nicky is not as romantic as her brother, but she is dating a guy. However, she is worried that the guy is communist when he makes a weird statement while talking to her. Then Noah and his girlfriend break up, and now the friends should find a new bar to hang out.
On the other hand, Sherm and Antony have some problems because Antony feels like Sherm is being irresponsible by not working and not paying his expenses. Moreover, they are not close to each other because Noah only introduced them. Finally, they resolve their issues with slap boxing. The plot may remind you of the classic sitcom Friends, which is a worldwide phenomenon.
However, this show is unique for its inclusive cast, where they have shown black American people as the leading cast. The real and complex personalities make this sitcom different and the reason why you should stream it. Even though the plot is good, there is still a lot that can be done through this. Once it finds its comedic timing, the show will be great.

In supporting roles, there are many other people which we will get to know as more episodes are released. Garrett Morris played the narrator in the first episode, which lasted only for one.
Reception of The Series
Three episodes may not be enough to review a sitcom as it takes time to build the plot. However, with the few episodes already released, Grand Crew represents the black community’s right representation. The critics have given a favorable review for its casting and scrip.
