She asks Colin to help as payback when she finds out he plays piano and can sing in the local community Christmas show. In reality, the prince works for a fictional European country called Exeter, not the hotel. Colin conceals his identity due to his warm feelings about Dee Dee’s neighborhood, where he participates in holiday activities with her family and friends.
A princess that Colin and his parents hope to marry shows up in New York, ruining Colin’s cover story just as his parents show up in New York.
