The anime version of Naruto, one of the most influential manga stories in the world, is notable for how accurate and lively it has remained since its first airing in 2002. When Naruto: Shippuden began in 2007 and ended in 2017, Masashi Kishimoto‘s artwork began to tell the story of Boruto, Naruto’s kid.
In the original tale, Naruto—a cheeky young ninja—aspired to lead his village as the Hokage in a world plagued by politics and conflict. Rival towns clash while Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke, a member of the ferocious Uchiha clan, and other young people get instruction in Konoha (their village).
Although he gets teased as a child, Naruto Uzumaki became the Hokage, the defender of his town, and one of the most powerful Shinobi in the series. He defeats numerous enemies throughout the series.
Throughout the program, Naruto has engaged in several battles. Sasuke sought retribution for the extinction of his clan, while Naruto coped with the power of the Nine-Tails beast he had within him. But because they had a soul connection, they kept running into each other while the terrorist organization Akatsuki waged war on all Shinobi.
It was a trick used throughout time by the extraterrestrial Kaguya, manipulating the Uchihas (Madara and Obito) to subjugate humanity. As a result, everyone’s paths eventually came together, many internal conflicts were wage, and countless lives were lost.

It could be reasonable to have a natural assumption that Naruto, the protagonist of the story, has a lot of blood on his hands because he vanquishes numerous enemies during the narrative.

Did Naruto kill Yura?
Yura served as the Fifth Kazekage’s advisor and an Alba Organization spy. Yura served on the council for four years and was a jinn from Sunagakure. Gaara soon rose to the position of Fifth Kazekage and was one of his most dependable counselors.
Yura was first seen as a reliable council member, but it was later discovered that he was a secret agent working for the Akatsuki.
He was turned into a spy by Sasori before being elected as a councilor, thanks to a brain implant that gives him a lot of headaches. In the canon, Naruto has only killed one character, although he has killed several foes in the non-canon filler material and the films.
Some Facts
The lone canon victim of Naruto is the jinn Yura, though some people think that Yura was already dead when Naruto murdered her and that he was killing a corpse.
He was slain by Naruto’s Big Ball Rasengan/ Odama Rasengan during the battle with Team 7 and Chiyo; Yura’s corpse was later discovered, confirming Naruto’s involvement in his death when he tried to kill Naruto. The Jutsu must be used as a living sacrifice for them to take on the appearance of an Akatsuki member.
There is disagreement on whether Naruto’s Giant Rasengan technique killed it. He did, in the most literal sense, and his body was the evidence. Yura was first seen as a reliable council member, but it later came across that he was a covert operative working for the Akatsuki. When Sasori and Deidara arrived at the Hidden Sand, his memory returned to him.
Pain transforms Yura into an Itachi clone after his spying is over. However, some people believe that he has already passed on, as Yura gets offered up as a living sacrifice by Pain for the Shapeshifting Technique.
Could Naruto Kill Pain?
The head of Akatsuki, Nagato Pain, was famous as one of the group’s most potent members. One of the series’ defining moments was when Naruto and Pain squared off; it was also the first fight that Pain lost. In addition, Pain brought back Yahiko’s vision and goal of improving the world.
He saw similarities between Yahkio’s objective and Naruto’s dream, so he charged Naruto with changing the environment so Shinobi could coexist peacefully. Pain revived every soul he had killed to fulfill this desire, but in the process, Nagato became weak and passed away.
Could Naruto Kill Itachi?
Itachi was a gifted child who grew to like Konoha. Nevertheless, Itachi made a difficult decision and eliminated the other villagers even when his feared Uchiha clan threatened to rebel against them.
Itachi hoped that Sasuke’s animosity and rivalry with Naruto would give him the strength to do what Itachi could never do: defend the village and restore the Uchiha name. As a result, Itachi covertly went undercover inside the Akatsuki.
Later, Pain changes him into an imitation of Itachi Uchiha, controlled by Uchiha himself, and uses him to delay the arrival of Team 7—Kakashi Hatake and the elderly Chiyo—who were on their way to Pain’s lair to rescue him. Yura needs to be sacrificed for the Shapeshifting to become a copy of Itachi.
Could Naruto kill Kakuzu?
No, Kakuzu did not kill by Naruto in Shippuden episode 89, “The Price of Power.” While Kakashi ultimately uses his Chidori to kill Kakuzu by jumping into the sizable impact crater left by the fight, Kakuzu eventually gets defeated by Naruto.
So, contrary to everything we have claimed, Kakuzu is not on Naruto’s murder list. At this point, fans got their first glimpse of Naruto’s Rasenshuriken, which he utilized and killed Kakuzu.
What About The Partner?
Hidan, like his partner Kakuzu, represented evil in human form. He travels the world before getting enlisted by the Akatsuki, killing everybody who got in his way. Hidan demonstrated no regard for the giant objective even while a member of the Akatuski. As long as there was blood to be shed, he was happy.
Asuma Sarutobi ‘s death was mostly his fault, and he also intended to kill the rest of his crew. However, he misjudged Shikamaru’s brilliance and met his demise in the most agonizing manner possible.
Could Naruto kill A White Zetsu?

Naruto Is Specifically To Blame For Several Deaths
Even if Naruto thought he was fighting Itachi, it’s strange that the aspiring Hokage kills Yura in a show that actively works to avoid depicting Naruto as a murderer while more prominent, more heinous villains escape with their lives.
Since the fight takes place at the start of Naruto Shippuden, it’s possible that the Akatsuki puppet was to be a minor enough figure that Naruto can kill him without anyone questioning his morals. Alternatively, it’s also possible that the death was intentional to emphasize Naruto’s increases maturity following the time skip.
How Many Confirmed Kills Does Naruto have?
The answer to the above question of whether he killed anyone is that Yura’s passing breaks the unwritten Shonen rule that protagonists shouldn’t be ruthless killers in the Naruto series. Contrary to popular belief, Naruto Uzumaki has only ever murdered a single Sand Village jonin by the name of Yura.
However, technically speaking, Naruto never has a killing blow on anyone.
