A new character will be Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, other than who no one else is publicly familiar about. This has not stopped the fans from speculating, and one of the most popular opinions is Emma Watson as the sorceress Clea.

According to the comics, Clea is a sorceress who first meets Doctor Strange when he is in the dark dimension to fight with Dormammu. She is the heir to the dark dimension and shares a romantic partnership with Strange. She battles with him and aids him in his fights, learning and growing from this experience. This could be an interesting angle to investigate in the movie.

And who better than an actress that has already been in a magical world, Emma Watson. Her presence in the MCU has been long overdue now. And as a fan favorite, this would be the best way to make her introduction into this universe.
When this speculation became a frontrunner in most discussion threads on the internet, the artists at ApexForm, have posted the “first look” of the actress playing Clea. She is perceive to wearing the character’s iconic black and purple suit, with inspirations drawn from other powerful characters in the MCU.
The artwork is drawn against the window of the Sanctum Sanctorum and has given Emma Watson powerful magical features, with highlighted purple eyes that seem to grow with power. This, coupled with the purple coloured energy seemingly flowing through her hands, would make a terrific sorceress and addition to the overall MCU.
Has Emma Watson Signed Off?
Although there have been no official notices from Marvel regarding the casting. Or any affirmation regarding the same from Emma Watson, the fans are still looking forward to a surprise. This is especially true since the MCU has in the past pulled off secret casting, filming, and production and only brought to light the entire cast in the theatres. Even in the latest release, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, there were quite a few surprises. Given how perfect Emma Watson would be for the role of Clea, there is no saying that she might not have already joined the cast and started shooting!
