Hubie Halloween is an American farce crime movie produced by Adam Sandler, Kevin Grady, Dominico Hadelo, and Allen Covert. The film is directed by Steven Bill, aided by Happy Madison Williams, and distributed by Netflix. Hubie Halloween is 102 minutes long and got aired on October 7, 2020, in the U.S. The story deals with Hubie Dubois, who has become a joke to a huge mass of people in his hometown Salem.
He is charged with the duty to keep an eye around the town on Halloween night and ultimately is seen to have proven his worth. The twists and turns in the plot, including the jokes and pranks, do make the movie worth watching.

Plot
The storyline of Hubie Halloween revolves around Hubie Dubois, who is mocked by almost every citizen of Salem, Massachusetts, his hometown. Hubie, however, loves monitoring the night of Halloween as an appointee and keeps eyes on the streets so that nobody gets harmed. But, everyone thinks that it’s a mere childish job and continues to make fun of him despite doing something better not for himself but for society as a whole.
But no one is to be blamed much since Hubie does seem to be annoying at times, including to the local police station, and angers them with several phone calls. On the previous day of Halloween, Hubie comes across Walter Lambert and soon gets to hear that Richie Hartman has fled from a mental asylum who has been a friend of his in the past. Hubie becomes a victim of several tricks during his duty and runs into the forest where he comes across Walter, and the later soon gets back in the mental asylum.
Hubie ultimately, however, emerges as the rescuer and earns respect. The story ends on a happy note when after a year, Hubie has married Violet and has even become the Mayor of Salem. The film ends with Hubie riding on his bicycle and gets ready for Halloween.
Reviews
The whole film is full of several tricks and sarcastic notes but not every time they are as funny as they are meant to be. Hubie, since the beginning, is portrayed as dumb, but at times, he becomes the most intelligent person who fails to go in accordance with the character. Sandler’s overacting at times also seems annoying, but let it be accepted that the movie is a nice one overall.
The movie can get dull at times, but it might last for few minutes only, and most of the film is loveable. So do give it a watch and stay tuned with us for more such reviews and news.
