Hunters is an American series that first premiered on February 21, 2020, on Amazon Prime. The series consisted of conspiracy thriller, black comedy, period drama and crime. The characters of the series were inspired by the Nazi hunters of many decades, but the show had no intention to represent any of them specifically.
The first season consisted of a total of 10 episodes and the running time of the episodes varied between 60-90 minutes each.
Created by David Weil and produced by various producers such as Jerry Kupfer, Kris Baucom, Glenn Kessler and Mark Bianculli, the series proved to be a great success. The production companies of the series were Monkeypaw Productions, Sonar Entertainment, Big Indie, Balck Mass Productions and Amazon Studios. Considering its success, season two was announced in August 2020 itself.
As said by the creators, the production is all ready to release its brand new season with something exciting and new.
Plot Of Season 2
Just as season 1, the second season will also be engaging and exciting in story and entertainment. The second season will focus on the clash between the Hunter’s and the task forces. Also, the audience will be witnessing how the Nazis use Joe (a character in the series) as a medium of destruction. The series will also deal with the questions such as who is Joe and his source of motivation.
Season two takes the viewers in the past, in the country of Europe where the hunters go hunting the Nazi lieutenants. One more motive for travelling back in time to Europe is to introduce the ancestors of certain characters to the audience to make the series even more fascinating.
Cast Of The Series
The cast of the series somewhat remains the same as season two, but there are some new additions. The audience will witness artists such as Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Saul Rubinek, Carol Kane, Josh Radnor, Greg Austin, Tiffany Boone, Louis Ozawa in the series. In addition to them, other actors and actresses are accompanying them.

Release Date And Platform
Though the creators announced the onset of the second season in August 2020 only, as the first season was an immense success, there has not been any update on the release date till now. But the second season will release in 2022 itself. The second season’s onset is expected to be somewhere from mid to late 2022.
Like the first season, the second season will also be aired on Amazon Prime video.
