The Night house is a horror film we all await to see. The film is a psychological thriller/ horror. The movie plays with your mind and takes you to the edge of your seat. David Bruckner directs the movie. He previously directed the movie “The Ritual.” David Bruckner has received a nomination for the “Deauville Film Festival.” The storyline is described as a woman named Beth, whose husband recently passed away and is left alone in the lake house he had built for her.
At first, everything was fine, but slowly she started getting horrific dreams and felt a presence at night. But when the sun dawned, all sights of ghostly presence were gone, only to return at night. She was so intrigued and wanted answers, so she started to go through her husband’s belongings, only to find out secrets and mysteries she was better off without knowing them.
Whom can You See in the Cast?
The cast stars long-served actors and actresses. We can find Rebecca Hall as the main character – Beth, in the movie. Her amazing acting skills have lifted the movie to yet another level. I’m sure we’ve all seen her previous movies, “The Awakening,” “A rainy day in New York.” We can see Evan Jonigkeit as Owen, the late husband of Beth.

It will be released exclusively in theaters. The movie won’t be available on any streaming platform like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, HBO, Disney Plus.
The movie has previously been released at The “Sundance Film Festival” on 24th January 2020. After the release of the movie, Searchlight Pictures obtained the distribution rights of the film. Initially, the movie was set to release on 16th July 2021 but was later changed to 20th August 2021 (Friday).
Response of the Movie
After the movie was released at the “Sundance Film Festival” on 24th January 2020, viewer reviews flooded the internet. The movie received mixed reviews. Some viewers said that the movie was at its peak of horror and thrill. One couldn’t take their eyes off the screen and kept on searching for answers. At the same time, some other viewers found the story to be confusing and claimed to have various plot holes. Over and above, the movie has received an IMDb rating of 6.1 and is growing forward.
