Is There A Gay Kissing Scene In Lightyear?
Being just a kid’s movie, Lightyear has fallen under the severe category on IMDb. Till now, Wolf of Wall Street has fallen and, Lightyear has nothing to do with nudity and sex scenes. Lightyear is a spin-off from the Toy Story that shows the origins of the astronaut toy Buzz Lightyear.
14 countries have banned the movie just because it includes a gay couple kissing. Kissing your same-sex lover is a crime. It impacts a kid’s mind in doing “wrong” things. Although a kid’s mind would not be affected negatively by all the crime happening in the country yeah, a kiss scene might.
DOES LIGHTYEAR MOVIE HAVE A GAY KISSING SCENE?
YEEESSSS!!!! And, We love it. Despite the audience’s reaction to it. Lightyear has become a targeted movie for negative reviews just, just because of a GAY KISSING SCENE which is absolutely absurd.
Even in the 21st century, we can’t accept the fact that you can like a person of the same gender. You can love them, adore them and have a life with them.
14 countries including China, Malaysia, Egypt, and UAE have banned the movie.
Initially, in the US also, the kissing scene was said to be cut or muted but Disney and Pixar decided to keep it as it is. Well, the right decision by them, who knows maybe this time CEO would have resigned (Pun Intended!).

REVIEWS AND RATINGS
The movie has a 5.2/10 rating on IMDb and an 85% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The gay kissing scene in the movie isn’t something to make a fuss about. Honestly, people don’t care about it but the ban on movies in some countries has made it a hot topic.
Entering the pride month, making it even more controversial. Children of today need to know that it is okay to be gay. People had a hard time accepting their sexuality because of the non spoken societal norms about homosexuality but no one has control over it, right? What’s the point of living when you can’t be the person you want to be with.
There’s no point in living a depressing life. Nowadays, children already have a lot to worry about, do not give them one more reason to be depressed. Let them love whoever they want.
People should be focusing on more serious of the world. And not on a kissing scene in a kid’s movie. If we gave as much importance to the issues of global warming, the use of plastic, and burning cracker as we do this kissing scene, the earth would not be degenerating right now.
People need to Grow Up. It’s the 21st Century.
