The original movie was released in 2001, and ever since then, it has become a franchise with a musical, three movies, and one television reality show. The franchise came into being after the first movie was adapted from the book written by Amanda Brown and goes by the same name. The movie was supposed to release earlier in 2020 but got pushed back because of the pandemic, and now it is finally ready to release next year. Initially it was supposed to release in the month of July like its previous installments, but it was pushed back again.
