Review of the Film
Max Mc Guire is the director of this film, who is known in the industry for his contribution as a director in films such as Foreverland, Midnight at the Magnolia, Bury the Past, and A Merry Holiday. He has done a good job in this film as well, as he knows how to make Christmas-themed films; this movie has been a joy to watch as well.
The plot of the movie is about a girl named Emilia who is a cartographer, and she loves to make maps, she was about to return to her home for a cozy Christmas, but things got ruined because her boss gave her a last minuter project, where she has to draw a treasure map. She meets Drew in the town to write a story about Cresent Cove, and Emilia’s boss hires him.
The plot is unique as both of them have a hate-hate relationship which is pretty interesting because enemies to lovers is an exciting concept. There are not many holiday-themed films with such unique and different ideas. The film’s pace is absolutely perfect, and while watching the film, it never felt that the pace of their relationship is too slow or it is moving too fast.
The reel couple had perfect chemistry, and it did not feel like they were acting; they improvised their characters by focusing on minor details, which made their character even better and made the film much more entertaining. And for a moment, fans would forget that they are watching a film.
The film has been written beautifully. There were neither any plotholes nor any irrelevant film logic that made the film much better. People can watch this film either with their family or their loved ones during the holiday season. Overall, this film is worth watching and has received mixed reviews with 47 votes on IMDB as well.
