Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris is a magical motion picture he wrote and produced in 2011. The movie is slated in Paris and depicts author Gil Pender (Owen Wilson), who is obliged to address the flaws in his relationship with his avaricious girlfriend and their competing goals, which become increasingly heightened when he travels ahead in space every evening at nightfall.

Wilson, McAdams, Kathy Bates, Adrien Brody, Carla Bruni, Tom Hiddleston, Marion Cotillard, and Michael Sheen feature in the picture, which was produced by the Spanish organization Mediapro and Allen’s US-based Gravier Productions. It had its world debut at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and was distributed on May 20, 2011, in the United States.

Amazon Prime now has Midnight in Paris accessible for viewing. With a subscription of the same, you can avail yourself multiple advantages of the same. This blockbuster is available for borrowing or purchasing on Google Play, Vudu, Amazon Instant Video, and iTunes.HBO Max also has it accessible for streaming.

What to Know Before Watching It?

Before watching it, one must know that the movie has many conventions that have proven synonymous with Woody Allen’s work as a screenwriter and director. He’s made much bigger than his usual quota of movies that are pertinent to the era. The reality that many continue to elicit emotional responses from viewers tells eloquently about his ambition.

Gill is an outspoken character who doesn’t quite fit in with the rest of the group. Ernest Hemmingway is a dynamic guy who feels that a lack of fear is the same as profound affection for a lady. Salvador Dali is a surrealist who is more concerned with his timbre than with the issue at stake. There is comedy during turmoil, and there is soothing cynicism in terrible moments.

What is The Plot All About?

Gil Pender is an up-and-coming author and screenwriter. He has resorted to seeing the metropolis unaccompanied while on a trip in Paris with his girlfriend. Gil meets a bunch of weird — yet recognizable — revelers on these kinds of delayed outings, who whisks him off, presumably beyond space, for sunset with some Jazz Age artists and literary heroes.

Gil gets increasingly disillusioned with the current moment as he invests so many hours with these historical icons of the previous era.

What Does Our Critic Have to Say?

Midnight in Paris is indeed a film that everyone can choose to watch, but not everyone can understand its deeper meaning and appreciate it. The cinema is, in some ways, a great indulgence. Every single shot depicts stuff that will bring people to giggle.

Perhaps Allen lacks to elicit any sensation other than delight, but he achieves so frequently in doing so that it’s difficult not to fall in enamored with the picture. It’s easy to criticize this image because it’s blatantly inaccurate. Allen’s inconsistent 90 minutes will cause headaches for everyone.

The only word in the dictionary which can describe Lokesh well is "Curious". He is a man who sits in the corner of a café, sipping his coffee and watch others and write about them having a good time. Addicted to bettering himself each day. An impressive introvert who finds his home in the places he travels. It's either the power of universe or sunsets that sets his soul free. In between, He can be found wrapped in his own bubble, knitting stories even before the sun rises!
