As we all know about the Halloween season around the corner, we are all set to welcome the festival as well as the season. With the dawn of the winter season, we draw close to the spooky stuff, festivities, and lots of excitement. And with the world’s most cozy season setting in, we know that it’s vacation time. Families will get together, and with all the people in the house, it calls for moving time.
Netflix has never seemed to back out to release the series and shows according to the seasons, and this time too, we’re counting to get our favorite stuff delivered just in time. So we have our next horror series just in line for us. Coming from Mike Flanagan’s, The haunting of Hill House, we have “Midnight mass” coming up for us. And we sincerely hope that you are in a spooky mood for this series.
What is the Plot of the Series?
Usually, Flanagan’s movies concentrate on haunted houses. But now we see that his focus has shifted to the community as well. So here’s what we know about the series. A young priest arrives in the town, and this town is completely devoid of faith in God and does not believe in the magic of prayers, nor do they pray. But this priest has come like an angel in disguise. He performs various miracles, prayers, and ceremonies and tries to get the people back in faith and deliver them from the bondages that kept them away from God all this while.
Cast for the Series
As we know, this town is devoid of the presence of God because they don’t believe in God, nor do they pray. They’ve given up on him, but just parents don’t leave their children, no matter how spoilt they are, our parents still love us.
Just like that, God loves his people who live in that town, and so he sent this young priest to this town so that he could help them out. So here, the protagonist of the series is the young priest, whose role is played by Hamish Linklater. He is also known for his roles in other series. Other members of the cast include Henry Thomas, Kristin Lehman, Samantha Sloyan, IgbyRigney. Matt Biedel, Michael Trucco, Crystal Balint and Louis Oliver. The Release Date for the Series
The series is all set to appear on the screens on September 24, 2021. It will consist of seven episodes initially. And will be available on Netflix. But in Netflix, you get all the episodes at once. But for the other streaming sites, want to go with releasing one episode at a time. So for those who will be using the other sites will have to wait for a week till they get their hands on those episodes. Because of this, Netflix is still on all the streaming sites as it delivers just things the viewers want.
