The Documentary shows how at the tender age of only 10-year-old, Robert Wiltshire had an attachment and love towards horses and the Wild West. Till then, he never felt a sense of belongingness from any place, and he would wander all day and still feel left out at the end. He didn’t know how to speak or read, and this made a huge difference as he was made to stay with his grandparents. Up until then, he didn’t have any ambitions or goals to fulfill. However, one fine day when the stars favored Robert, he witnessed a Western on the big screen. From that point of moment, everything changed for Robert, and now he had an ambition, his obsession with horses, cowboys, howdy manners, attire, etc., increased day by day exponentially. He started training animals, mostly horses, and also began learning various horse stunts by copying, and day by day, he was getting better. Subsequently, when he moved to America from Australia, he realized that it might not be as easy as a smooth cakewalk to fulfill his dreams.
However, the age-old adage proved to be true that says “Better Late than Never.” After a few years, Robert got his breakthrough, and Marlboro Commercial offered him a job, and from that moment, the innumerable number of jobs never stopped. Robert mentioned that his best piece of work was with Budweiser Clydesdales, which eventually became an iconic American impression. Even if he was getting too many jobs, he wasn’t adamant or didn’t have any vanity. He was down-to-earth and hardworking. He purchased a house in Wyoming, and currently, he lives peacefully with his wife, son. Of course, his love of life, ‘horses.’ One thing which can be learned from the documentary is “Path to Success is Never Sleek and Smooth, it is filled with unwanted hurdles which aim to make you suffer, but you need to be determined to fulfill your aim and never forget to pursue it.”
