The brand new vampire thriller Night Teeth was released very recently and has managed to gather a mixed bunch of reviews from the viewers. It is a directorial project by Adam Randall, a production handled by Ben Pugh, Charles Morrison, and Vincent Gatewood, while a story penned by Brent Dillon.
The story revolves around a young lad named Benny (essayed by Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) who, on one fine night, takes up the responsibility as a chauffeur in place of his brother.
But what awaits is a crazy night as his two passengers- Zoe and Blaire (essayed by Lucy Fry and Debby Ryan, respectively) are the bloodsucking creatures who are on a hunt across Los Angeles to finish other vampires and make a new hierarchy. Benny, having left no choice, has to drive them through the city in order to save his life.
What Fans Have To Say After Watching The Movie?
The latest vampire release, Night Teeth, has been appreciated for its amazing capture of contemporary vampire stories with glamourously styled female leads, although somewhat loosely resembling the Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise starring Collateral. Fans could immediately resonate the trailer of Night Teeth post its release with the plot of Collateral. This was enough to spark curiosity among the fans.
However, despite the good portrayal of aesthetics of a vampire plot, it seemed to possess a kind of predictive storyline and lack focus on the worldbuilding factor and action. It has an impressive cast with good performance and owns a progressive plot, but as many of its supporting characters haven’t been used to their full potential, this has added to its drawbacks.
To add to it is the fact that Megan Fox shares the screen for just a single scene which somehow has disappointed the fans as they expected more of her character.
As the genre has already been explored ample amount of times in several movies, series, and sitcoms over the decades, unfortunately, this time around too, the story has nothing majorly new to offer. The audience found the beginning to be on point and engaging, but the story somehow slows down before ending towards the end.
Is It Worth Watching Or Not?
Although the Night teeth isn’t a new addition to the vampire genre, the story is somehow a fun watch of about 1 hour 47 minutes duration. Seemingly the engaging performances of the leads will keep you entertained. Despite the negative remarks, this quick watch will be a decent escape for all the vampire story lovers.
The movie can be enjoyed by taking it as a spooky enjoyable watch, especially for the generation of the previous decade who grew up surrounded by vampire fantasy. Owing to Halloween that is approaching in less than a couple of weeks, the movie must make it to the list of gothic fiction lovers and demands a one-time try at least.
Where To Stream The Movie?
The Adam Randall directed Night teeth premiered on October 20, 2021, and is available to enjoy on streaming giant Netflix as of now. Till now, the movie can only be enjoyed by taking a subscription to the streaming platform. Being a Netflix original, it is unlikely that it would become available on other streamers as of now.
