Not Okay: What is the Release Date of the Movie?
No one has yet revealed the release date for the movie “Not Okay.” There has just been confirmation about the movie’s filming. The production of the movie is said to be started on July 30. Some sources say that they spotted actress Zoey Deutch while filming in NYC on the same date. She had also posted few pictures on her Instagram captioning them as “day one”. But soon after getting talks and noticed, she took down the post.
One of the recent posts on Instagram confirmed a wrap on the movie filming. We can now say that the film is now under post-production work. And we can soon expect more updates on release date and the trailer for the movie.
Not Okay: Who are in the Cast of the Movie?
Zoey Deutch, who you may know from some of her works like in Vampire Academy, The Politician, and others, will play the role of Danni Sanders (a protagonist) in the film. People have already been excited about her presence in the cast. We will Zoey Deutch along with the male lead played by Dylan O’Brien. Looking at the Instagram posts from the sets of the film “Not Okay,” we noticed that Dylan O’Brien dyed his hair to blonde for his role in the movie as Colin.
The other supporting cast members include Embeth Davidtz, likely known for her role as Miss Honey in Matilda. Mia Issac and Nadia Alexander, playing the roles of Danni’s friends. We will also see Tia Dionne Hodge, Karan Soni, Negin Farsad, and Dash Perry, a newbie. There have not been any updates about who in the supporting cast plays what roles in the movie.
Not Okay: What is the Expected Plot?
The movie is about a young woman who needs friends and fame just to portray a pretentious and happy life on social media. And in order to show this she fakes a vacation to Paris. But one day, an incident in her real-life changes all this imaginary life into reality, which gets her all the fame, attention, and popularity she has always wanted. Zoey Deutch’s post on Instagram, which she later took down, gave us a glimpse of her look in the movie wherein she was wearing a hoodie, glasses, and grocery shopping.
Later some sources even papped her looks during the shooting, and she was seen in four different outfits in a day shoot. Also, looking at all the behind-the-scenes pictures revealed, we can ensure that the movie will be a comedy, drama, and lots of fun.
