It was just recently when we got to know that Craven has given the confirmation about the fifth and sixth sequel of the Scream series but there was a twist behind it. The thing which kept most of its fans hooked was the condition which Craven gave during the release of the fourth part and it was that the same movie should become a hit. But it was the luck that turned to our favors and in November 2020, Williamson officially confirmed the fifth sequel. The trailer is out already and fans are waiting for the movie to hit the screens. So, let’s talk in detail about this upcoming sequel.
Introduction to Paramount’s Scream 5?
To everybody’s disbelief, there is nothing out about the plot of the show except the trailer and the official synopsis. So we will start with the description of the synopsis first that says the story will begin about Twenty-five years after a continuous chain of murders break in the town of Woodsboro. There will be a new killer hovering around the town who has taken up the Ghostface mask to disguise himself while targetting the teenagers of the town. The trailer starts Ghostface breaking into Tara’s house after giving her a threat text. He does it with all the precautions.
To all those people, who haven’t watched any of the parts of this film series, we will give you a glimpse of what is the main plot of it. The original movie premiered in 1996 and was directed by none other than the late Wes Craven. The film focused on the character of Campbell who played Sidney Prescott, a high schooler who was the victim of the terrors of Ghostface who was kind of obsessed with ’80s horror movies.
Is It Worth The Wait?
The movie was first decided to get released in this year itself but due to pandemics, there were many delays which it had to face. Bit now as we have got to know about the enthralling plot, we believe that the movie is totally worth the wait. Besides this, we have several other reasons which make it worth the wait as we might get to see Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers, and David Arquette’s Deputy Dewey Riley back in the game.
The plot that we just laid in front of you brings us back to a question that says will Sidney, Dewey or Gale die or not? Seems difficult to answer and we know only the movie will be able to answer it.
Streaming Details of Paramount’s Scream 5?
Moving on to the streaming details, as of now we know that the film is Paramount’s original so you might be able to watch it on Paramount+. Other than this, if we are lucky enough theaters could also become one of the major gateways for us. So keep your lists ready as Scream 5 will be hitting the screens on January 14, 2022.
Who All are The Part of this Upcoming Sequel?
We might get watch the trio back into action but other than these we have some new faces which include Jack Quaid as Richie, Jenna Ortega as Tara, Melissa Barrera as Sam, Dylan Minnette as Wes, Mason Gooding as Chad, Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy, and Mikey Madison as Amber.
We have given you the majority of the information which we had collected up till now but believe to elaborate furthermore when we get some new gossips.
