The Walt Disney Studios is all set for giving ‘Kick in Pants’ to the fans of the worldwide famous film franchise Pirates of the Caribbean. In December 2018, Sean Bailey, the president of Walt Disney Studios, stated that he wants to “bring new energy and vitality to the franchise,” giving “kick in Pants” to the fans.
“It’s only the beginning of adventure,” Says the director, Joachin Ronning, confirming the release of long awaited Pirates of Caribbean part 6. The release of The Pirates of Caribbean: The Curse of Black Pearl in 2003 by producer Jerry Bruckheimer and The Walt Disney became a global sensation overnight, crossing millions. After this huge success, Walt Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer started a franchise series of the film with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest in 2006.

After the director, Joachin Ronning confirmed the release of the sixth franchise film of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’ The producer Jerry Bruckheimer indicated the development of the film in September 2017. One of the lead cast actresses of the Pirates of the Caribbean, Kara Scondelario, stated that she was already signed for the contract of the sixth franchise of the film series. Considering the releases of the last films of the franchise series, there has always been a gap of 3-4 years. So it’s been predicted that the sixth part of the series will be out soon by 2023.

Featuring the return of Davy Jones (Bill Nighy, a cast actor of the film) as an antagonist thrilled the audience and left them with mysteries when the flying Dutchmen Captain sneaks into the room of Elizabeth and Will as they sleep, prepares to attack, and vanishes.

As per the reports, the draft has been prepared by the famous story writer Craig Mazin and the screenwriter Jen Elliott under the direction of Joachin Ronning.
The New Cast and Controversies
The film’s cast has been in highlight for its controversies and shufflings for the sixth part of the series. Kaya Scodelario has officially announced her involvement in the film. However, other cast members from the past films of the series, Kiera Knightley and Orlando Bloom, have released no official statement on their casting.
Walt Disney is considering Karen Gillan for the female lead role. The major role of Captain Sparrow is constantly under Controversy after the actor Johnny Deep has been alleged for domestic violence by his ex-wife Amber Heard. More than 500,000 fans from all over the world have filed a petition for bringing back Johnny Deep.
Producer Jerry Bruckheimer stated that ”the draft we are developing right now we are not sure what Johnny’ s role is going to be so we are going to see”. However, no official announcement has been made on this comeback.
