Synopsis of Redd Zone
According to Deadline, the synopsis of this movie: Tia Magee (played by Jada Pinkett Smith) is a single mother, and she will come forward to help her sons and their high school football team members, named- ‘The Bros’. Dominic Redd died, and they all are healing after his murder.
After this incident, all the players start moving into Tia’s house, and soon 17 persons are living under a single roof. Eventually, all the players of The Bros go to college. Out of them, 4 go to the NFL.

Yes! The movie Redd Zone is based on and inspired by a true story. Dominic Redd was just 15 years old when he was murdered, and his death was not taken well by his team members of the high school football team. He was stabbed to death by three teenagers who made statements towards him.
This movie has been made for Dominic Redd and is dedicated to him. Not only to him, but the movie is also only dedicated to the community which was devastated after his death. Tia Magee is actually the mother of Brandon Magee (executive producer). Brandon has been a former MLB and NFL player, and Redd was his best friend.
