If you’re seeking spoilers of the upcoming episode, you’ve come to the correct place. We have summed up everything we know about episode 5, as well as a quick recap.
Recap of Episode 4
Earlier on Season 47 Episode 4 of Saturday Night Live, the opening scene had President Trump battling with his popularity. Until his cheerful past image appeared in front of him and directed him. When 2 wasn’t enough, a third from the past stepped in as well. Switching to the introductory monologue by Jason Sudeikis. He discussed his work experience with SNL throughout the years. From grooming a family to starring in Apple TV+ Original Ted Lesso.
The opening skit of the evening featured Sudeikis as a science instructor in “Science Room.” He is in charge of two employees who tend to annoy him, so much so that he’d have to summon their parents. We now have an Ellen DeGeneres commercial satire starring Mellen by Jason Sudeikis, the men Ellen. Then there was the “Annie” section. Villasenor arrives at her new residence like an orphan. Cecily Strong sang, with Ricky by Sudeikis and Warbucks by Mikey Day introducing Annie.
Sudeikis returns as a teacher, and Mooney and Nwodim meet with him to discuss their son Skylar. Before going on to the musical guest, we receive an ad for “Jake’s Non-Stick Underwear Prescription.” Brandi Carlile sings a song from her new album. Micheal Che and Colin Jost join us for a weekend report. They discussed Halloween, Facebook, and Steve Bannon, altering his name, like Kanye.
Then there’s Senator Kyrsten Sinema’s support for billionaires, to which Donald Trump responds with his own social media network. Joe Bidden discussed mental health and Sudekisi entered the discussion as Devil. Following that, we had a section called “What’s Up Featuring That!” with Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Braun, and Emily Ratajkowski as special guests. What’s Up with that was the show-stealer for us.
The next chapter was the Declaration of Independence, which took place in 1776 at the Pennsylvania State House. For them and their announcement, the two guys from the future altered everything. Brandie Carlile closed up the evening with a performance of her hit “Right on Time,” which you can listen to here. The episode ended with Kenan playing a wealthy man who wants to marry Sudeikis’s wife, Heidi Gardner, for the most bizarre sums of money.
