Is Shiny_Flakes: The Teenage Drug Lord – Is it Worth Watching?
In this film, Maximilian Schmidt is recreated without his flashy façade and sad depths. While reading, the spectator switches between Max, the police, and psychiatrists and attorneys before returning to Max’s point of view once again. He chronicles every step of his illicit profession by using reenactments, POV views, and a plethora of “real-time” computer screens. Beginning in December 2013, Max’s business was running smoothly. Then, when orders began to fall behind, gears in the wheel began to fail, and tensions began to mount to the point where small cracks erupted into enormous chasms, things improved.
With a police team investigating the operation, it was just a few minutes away before the teenager would get caught for drugs business. The documentary also breaks down a viewpoint shift to keep things fresh, though. In one scenario, the lead investigator denies claims that Max was shot in the face with a handgun while in custody. The next scene shows photos of his arrest, which show him with a horrific bruise on the side of his head.
In another scene, the main character, Max, waves away suggestions that he was caught, but he blames it on his associates. As a result of a mistake, the police were able to crack the code. However, they contribute to the overall complexity and depth of the documentary.

The movie beautifully sets up all of the important parts of this inquiry while being neutral throughout.
