Shudder recently brought out to the screens the official trailer for their sci-fi horror film, The Seed. The Seed has a story that revolves around a bunch of social media influencers who get a lot more than what they expected when they reached Mojave desert to witness and capture a meteor shower but end up having to face an alien species in order to survive.
The writer and director of the firm is none other than Sam Walker, who has also directed the short films Duck Children and Bite Horse. The upcoming science fiction horror film features in lead Lucy Martin from Vikings, Sophie Vavasseur from Resident Evil: Apocalypse, & Chelsea Edge from I Hate Suzie. The film will be available for watching exclusively on Shudder on March 10.

The distinctive trailer clip starts with showing some psychedelic pictures as it moves to introduce the main characters of the story. The trailer shows the 3 social media influencers reaching their vacation home spot and shooting a video of their judgmental views for the place & location. Three protagonists can be Den Sen getting all dressed up and ready for witnessing the meteor shower when suddenly something happens that they observe a crash in the pool.
Amazed and shocked at the same time the girls try to fetch what actually dropped in the pool when they find out that it’s actually a little, slimy alien. Soon we see either of the girls wanting to keep it in their home with the other wanting to kill it. As this goes on what are the characters who tried poisoning the creature appear to have been possessed by it. The girls then get gather themselves up mentally and physically to fight this alien.
