Space Force is an ongoing American workplace comedy series. The series focuses on the characters setting up the new branch of the US Armed Forces called the United States Space Force. By President’s orders, Steve Carell’s General Mark Naird is tasked to get to the moon by 2024.
The fictional military comedy is created by Steve Carell and Greg Daniels, with Caroline James, Lauren Houseman, and Michel Maccarone as producers. The first season was released on Netflix on 29 May 2020.

The first season of Space Force ended with Mark Naird not striking against China. This decision was not without any consequences. He and his supporters were arrested for this act. Mark now has the responsibility of saving Erin and reuniting with his wife, Maggie, who is in prison. Maggie, however, escapes with her girlfriend, Louise.

What To Know Before Watching Space Force Season 2?
The first season starts with General Mark Naird being made a four-star general while also getting the charge of US Space Force at his first Joint Chiefs of Staff meeting. Naird’s job is to set foot on the moon by 2024 for the complete domination of space. This means the family has to move from Washington DC to Colorado, much to his wife Maggie’s dismay.
The story moves to a year later when the Space Force is launching their satellite. On that day, General Naird is warned again and again by different people, from his civilian advisor Dr. Mallory to scientists like Dr. Kaifang, as the situation is not favorable for the launch.
The stubborn general did not pay any heed to them and green lights the launch of the satellite, which was successful. However, later that night, after the celebration, when the general was looking up to his beloved satellite, he saw that a big satellite was damaging the Epsilon 6.
The viewers learn that Maggie is in jail in Colorado with not knowing any reason for that. His daughter, Erin, is dating a probable Russian spy. Naird, at the end of the season, is given a choice. It will be worth the watch what he chooses eventually.
