Star Trek: Discovery Season 5 has been asked to “connect” by Paramount+. Which also announced that the program has been extended for a fifth season.
The announcement was part of a slew of Star Trek announcements from Paramount+, which also announced a publication schedule for Star Trek: Picard and a second act for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, the throwback drama featuring Captain Christopher Pike. It’s all a part of Paramount’s ongoing promotion of the property, which has had a resurgence since Discovery debuted in 2017.
After taking charge of the ship in Season 3’s conclusion, Michael Burnham is eventually placed in the Captain’s seat in Season 4. Season 4 went on hiatus on December 30, having supporters wait for more than a month to see the rest of the season.
Season 5 of Star Trek: Discovery Has Renewed
