Stranger Things Season 4

The fourth season of the American sci-fi horror drama TV series Stranger Things is coming through, and according to the show’s producer, it will be worth a wait. After the third season was released in 2019, Stranger Things season 4 will make it to the streaming giant Netflix in 2022. The first teaser trailer for the forthcoming season, released in February 2020, had revealed Hopper’s return.

Another teaser was released in May 2021, which hints at the comeback of Dr. Martin Brenner. According to the production team, the delay of the upcoming season encompasses various factors. While the Covid-19 crisis has significantly impacted the production schedule, they are completely wrapped themselves in the project to make it one of the most ambitious seasons of this series so far.

Do Netflix’s Stranger Things Deserve a Movie?

Stranger Things

The popularity of the supernatural series Stranger Things is quite endearing. The coming-of-age drama, which follows the lives of a group of friends fighting against overwhelming supernatural powers and socio-political exploits, has established the series as a full-fledged cultural phenomenon. After the release of Stranger Things season 3 in July 2019, the viewership mark had reached 64 million in just four weeks, earning the title of most-watched season debut. Set in Indiana, the idyllic setting induces Stephen King vibes.

It contains various amusing moments, and the group dynamics that come through contribute to its popularity. Because of the very promising character development and multi-genre storytelling format, combining horror with comedy, adventures, thriller, with bildungsroman, a good movie that holistically bespeaks and encompasses the key characteristics of the series will hit the spot right on.

Hence, undoubtedly the series deserves a movie, and it will be a great treat for the fans who are completely immersed in its plotline and are keen to watch more of this franchise. However, since Netflix is currently eyeing the release of season 4 of Stranger Things, it is not likely that they are considering any plans for a movie. But a movie for Stranger Things will be the best way to give the entire series a solid edge.

When will Stranger Things Season 4 be Release?

Stranger Things Season 4

Fans are keenly anticipating the release of the fourth season of Stranger Things, and according to Netflix, it is set for release in 2022. However, the exact premiere date is not revealed as of yet. They are filming the upcoming season in sprawling geographies, switching between different filming locations, and dealing with the pandemic has contributed to the release delays.

What is the Plot of Stranger Things Season 4?

According to the cast and crew, season 4 is a far cry from its previous installments. It is going to take a very dark turn, and the show is expanding its horizons. The biggest revelation is that Hopper is alive, and he starts in the Russian prison. While Eleven is without her powers at present, season 4 may very well mark the return of her powers. Moreover, the entire plot is not caught up in Hawkins but is moving far and wide and takes place in Russia.

Stranger Things season 4 will expand the dynamics of the franchise. And, no doubt, the series also deserves a movie that will redefine its key elements and contribute to its enduring popularity.
