Suicide Squad is a thrilling and adventurous movie based on the government’s mission to protect their nation and the world from the dangerous and outrageous supervillains of Corto Maltese island. The government assigns a group of supervillains well equipped with the latest high-tech weapons to do away with these enemies. The films are indeed stimulating and electrifying, which has attracted people of almost every age to be a part of it and demanded a sequel.
The films are based on the DC comics. The first film was released in 2016 but gained more popularity since the release of Suicide Squad, a sequel to Suicide Squad of 2016 movie, and demands a next sequel that is expected to be declared soon.
Expected Release Date
It is not officially confirmed when precisely the audience can watch the next sequel, that is Suicide Squad 3, but if the rumor is to be believed, fans can expect the sequel’s release in the latter half of 2023 or at least the beginning of the year 2024. Its director James Gunn has hinted towards the happening of the sequel but is currently busy with his current Marvel Movie.
Expected Cast and Story
It is difficult to tell who will be a part of this sequel, but as heard till now, new characters are expected to come up with their exciting traits and stories, giving the audience more entertainment than before. In respect of the main characters, the survivors in the previous film have a high chance of coming back who are Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Bloodsport (Idris Elba), Ratcatcher 2 (Daniel Melchior), King Shark (Sylvester Stallone), and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Sadly, Rick Flag won’t be a part of the sequel since he died in the last film.
Weasel (Sean Gunn) and Pacemaker (John Cena)are likely to come back since they escaped death. However, it is supposed that few characters, mainly Deadshot (Will Smith) and King Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) from the first season, will be back in the sequel exhilaration than before. Along with these, Viola Davis might take up the charge as Task Force X’s leader Amanda Waller in the company of Steve Agee and JenifferHoland. So will The Joker come back too?
The plot is not yet revealed but should be set apart from the former and consist of something new than the previous ones, or else it may cost much if unable to please its fans. But nothing remains constant, and fans should never believe rumors until its confirmed.

It depends on when Warner Bros will allow the sequel, yet shooting is likely to occur from November of 2021 if Gunn’s words are believed. The pandemic has hit hard in almost every field, and thus, the filming on the sequel highly relies on its budget, which is probably to be within $150 million, so nothing can be said unless we find something more to tell.
