Survivor Season 42 Episode 2 is the latest installment of the Reality TV Game Show. In the show, several strangers are put on an island where they have to fend for themselves. As the episodes go by people are eliminated off the island by their peers.
The contestants go through a test on both their physical and mental abilities; only those who complete the tasks at hand can continue on the show. Those who win said challenges are rewarded with perks and immunity from the subsequent elimination. If you have what it takes to be the number one among your fellow islanders you will receive the title of “Sole Survivor”. Which comes with a cheque of a Million Dollars.
What’s unique about the show is that fans get two seasons of the show in a year. There was a delay due to the Global Pandemic but now things are settling down. We can expect two seasons a year. Speaking of, CBS has already renewed the show for its 43rd and 44th season in March of 2022.
The filming of season 42 was held in Fiji again making this the 10th season to be filmed at that particular location. Due to Covid restrictions, the season will only span for 26 days rather than 39 as the production crew has to stay in Quarantine for 14 days. This time around 18 contestants are fighting for the title of “Sole Survivor” and the cheque of $1,000,000 that comes with it.
When to Expect the Episode
The show has been going strong since its premiere over 20 years ago. Having over 40 seasons is a testament to how good the show is and it shows how vast the fanbase is. The show is considered the best in the reality TV business as it was the one who started it all. As in it was the first-ever profitable reality TV show in the US. With over 60 Emmy Nominations and several other awards, the show is hands down one of the best in U.S History.
Season 42 started airing on the CBS Channel on the 9th of March 2022. The latest episodes air on Wednesdays of Every week. Survivor Season 42 Episode 2 will air on the 16th of March 2022. If it is to follow the pattern of the last season there are going to be about 14 episodes of 60 Minutes each. Fans of Reality TV Shows will enjoy Survivor as it is as real as it gets. What to Expect?
The season has started showing its teeth and we can’t predict how it will go just yet. Even if we do the show tends to have a surprise hidden in every other corner. In the last episode, we saw the tribes Taku and Vati gaining immunity but the reward went to the Ika tribe. Drea, Hai, and Lindsay came to possess an advantage amulet.
It would be interesting to see in which way they are going to utilize it. Since Ika lost at the immunity challenge their members were put up to eliminations leading to Zack’s elimination.
