The official English adaptation of the well-rated Israeli show ‘False Flag’, Suspicion, is an AppleTV+ original starring Uma Thurman. Thurman plays the role of an American businesswoman whose son Leo gets abducted one day. The suspects are four totally ordinary individuals who are completely unaware of each other.
The only two points overlapping is that they’re all British, and they all seem to have the same unlucky fortune to be present in that place of crime. What follows is a quest to their innocence, but are they innocent? That is something we need to find out with this eight-episode series.
What Happened in Episode 3?
The third episode mostly revolved around Natalie, who seems to be stuck in some embezzlement issues at her company. The police could no longer keep the four individuals under interrogation with no new leads. Sure, they were let go, but they are constantly under the police invigilation. This makes it hard for them to start living their lives as before.
Senior Officer Scott and Senior Investigation Officer Vanessa are on the case, and they are constantly watching the movements of the three individuals. Tara gets suspended from Oxford University after a report on her ends up online. Adarsh succumbs to the mess of conspiracy theorists who constantly makes speculations about his actions and emotions.
Unable to take the negativity, Soni splits up with him. Monique nearly escapes death as Sean tries to murder him for helping Natalie. Natalie agrees to be a part of the investigator’s sting operation in exchange for Monique’s safety. This episode also marks the entry of another main cast member Tom Rhys Harries.
What to Expect from Episode 4?
Episode 4, which is all set to release on February 18, 2022, is expected to give more insight into the lives of the suspects. The episode titled ‘The Devil You Know’ will primarily focus on the character of Eddie Walker, exploring his reasons to be in the city.
There are high chances that Natalie is innocent, and hers could be a wrong time, wrong place situation. Meanwhile, all the other characters have a tough time getting accustomed to life.
