The Blacklist ninth season of this popular crime thriller series was ordered for its ninth season on January 26, 2021. This season was then released on NBC on October 21, 2021.
This is the first season of The Blacklist in which we’ll not see Megan Boone playing the role of Elizabeth Keen and the showrunner Jon Bokenkamp will also not be seen.
Megan Boone left the show after its eight successful seasons. Later on, it was revealed that Diany Rodriguez will be seen in a recurring role on the show.
Just like the other episodes, no promo has been released for this one too. It seems like NBC feels that releasing promos isn’t doing any good.

The task force was looking for a cult- SPK. They killed innocent people to get their hands on Sacra Cintola which is a belt and now is up for auction.
Giovanni is the leader of this cult. Raymond Reddington will be visiting this auction while the team is busy looking into the matter.
Aram’s parents don’t want him to work in the task force and he plans on doing the same. Once his investor accepts his plans, he will leave the task force. Red has plans for coming back together with Agnes.
Ressler and Park have a conversation with David. David looks into the financial matters of Sacra Cintola. In order to save himself, David set himself on fire. Later his wife visited him at the hospital. She then told the team that she has a tracker on her husband as his behaviour was very unusual lately. Red bought that belt in the auction but wanted to meet the dealer.
Giovanni wants peace. The next target of SPK is Holy Cross Church. Red is able to meet Giovanni but he doesn’t reveal his name and instead tells that he is Robert Vesco. They both board a flight and Giovanni reveals his plans of blowing up a church.
After this case, Aram realized that he loves his work and decided that he will stay.

As per the official synopsis, we’ll again be seeing the team catching a blacklister. This one doesn’t like to return the stolen things. So, what is it that he has this time?
While the team is busy finding the blacklister, Harold Cooper revisits some of his memories. There is one memory that he doesn’t seem to remember properly and wishes that he could have. Ressler reaches Park to get a favour.
