What Happened in Season 9 Episode 1

The opening episode of season 9 was titled “Going for the Gold,” and the Laginas remember their findings of taxes of silver which gives them the hope that they might discover something much more and have now stopped digging around the money pit. The Laginas achieve some success as they find out brass and pottery items after they inspect the water body from ariel imagery and discover that the stone road was actually a Portuguese port.
The Laginas experienced some disappointment as the metal detectors couldn’t locate anything except for some small ion bits of an age-old Iron Wheel. The team discovered some samples from the Money Pit area that might indicate a treasure of gold worth billions; however, nothing significant is found yet.
