“The Dropout” is a show based on a 2019 podcast having the same name, which was hosted by a journalist named Rebecca Jarvis. This series has a storyline based on Elizabeth Holmes’real-life’s story, played by Amanda Seyfried.
This story is about her struggles and how she paved her way to becoming the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, who earned heaps of dollars by inventing a technology that revolutionized the healthcare industry. But later her technology risked the lives of millions of patients, making her lose everything. The show emphasizes the fluctuations in her business as well as her brand-new business empire.
Amanda Seyfried is not only playing the role in the show but also is a producer of the show with another maker, Elizabeth Meriwether, who is also the showrunner.
