Mike Flanagan, the mastermind behind some of the top horror shows, is coming together with Intrepid Pictures to bring a new miniseries for Netflix. For this miniseries, they have decided to take Edgar Allan Poe as their source material. This mini-show is called The Fall of the House of Usher and will take inspiration from the Poe short story and others to display the plot.

The official status of the series is so sad the filming is still Scheduled and is in the Pre Production stage. Thankfully, Production Weekly publicly reported a list confirming that this series will begin its shooting on Monday, January 24, 2022. The series will be filmed at the set location of Vancouver, Canada. The shooting of the series will take up to 4 months and presently shows a scheduled end date of a Wednesday, dated May 25, 2022.

Thanks to production weekly that released the synopsis of the miniseries sometime back. The show is a drama genre coming from a series of works from Edgar Allan Poe. Stories bring up tales of craziness, family, solitude, and metaphysical identities.
The show is basically a narration by a man who comes to see his childhood friend Roderick Usher. Usher then clarifies how his twin sister Madeline rests safely in the family vault and is not exactly dead. It is when Madeline comes out in a bloody blood outfit that the narrator makes his escape as the place splits up and begins drowning in a lake.
