Final Destination Part 4 Filming: How and Where Was It Filmed?
The movie had not one but three filming locations. It was shot in New Orleans, Louisiana, in Irvington, Alabama and in Orlando, Florida. Due to this fact, it becomes the one and only film in the Final Destination Franchise to not have its filming done in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Albeit being initially planned to have filmed in Vancouver only, Director David R. Ellis persuaded the producers to move the set to New Orleans in order to attract more business to the city.
A majority of the scenes were shot in New Orleans. However, the famous car crash scene does not belong to this place. It was shot at the International Speedway in Irvington, Alabama. The fourth part’s filming began in March 2008 and ended in June that year. Next year in April, certain shots were filmed again at the Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida.
