The King’s Man is an upcoming period action film. It is a prequel that will go back to the origins of the organization, so it will be the third movie in the franchise, but it won’t be termed Kingsman 3, as it won’t be having its previous characters whom we saw in the movies earlier.
The King’s Man Release Date
With the pandemic hovering over our heads, everything is delayed, but, Kingsman 3 will probably be out by December 22, 2021. We might expect them to wrap up the story that began with Gary and Harry meeting each other and then joining hands to work for this secret organization as Gary’s father worked here.
Story So Far
Kingsman 1 The Secret Service
Kingsman was initially a comic book series which was written by Mark Millar. It was made into a movie in the year 2014. This movie was about a spy organization that hires a street kid into their agency’s program. His name was Gary “ Eggsy “ Unwin. His father passed away while he was a young boy and now his mother had found her someone special.
Though her special was not special for Gary at all. In fact, Gary used to address him as a ‘creep’. Out of anger, Gary messes up with one of this creep’s friends but unfortunately gets arrested, but he remembers a man who met him when his father passed away. He asked Gary to contact him if ever he needed help. Harry Hart, the helpful man, did keep his promise.
Harry takes care of Eggsy and his friends for a while. And he informs Gary about being a part of a secret organization named, ‘ The Kingsman’, and his late father belonged to this group too. Harry offers Gary to help him and he agrees but then Gary goes through tough training to join this organization.
During the course of time, the Kingsman are spying on an industrialist, a tech billionaire, named Valentine. He’s a genius but his intentions are not good.
Kingsman 2 The Golden Circle
After the incidents of the previous movie, years after, Gary is officially a member of the secret organization – ‘ The Kingsman’. Gary has now taken up his late mentor, Harry’s position and stays in Harry’s house. Gary is now dating the crown princess of Sweden, named Tilde. He had saved her from Valentine. Gary comes across Charlie Hesketh, a man who had been rejected by Kingsman to be a part of the organization. He had lost his right arm and vocal cords in the Valentine incident.
Charlie hacks the computer in Gary’s car and with the information gained so far, he passes it on to the world’s largest drug dealer group known as the golden circle. Poppy Adams, the leader of this group, is planning to launch a missile that was primarily designed to destroy the Kingsman’s headquarters and kill all the agents in Britain. Which would include Gary’s friends too, who were presently staying in Gary’s place to look after his dog while Gary was with his girlfriend. Unfortunately, Gary and his colleague Merlin are the only two people who have survived this attack.
After this attack, Gary comes across a similar organization like the Kingsman in Kentucky, which was named the “ Statesman “. Gary has to trace down this agency and ask for its help to bring Poppy Adams as this is the only way out.
The King’s Man Expected Plot
Gary’s father had been working with the organization for the welfare of the people. And for the welfare of the people he gave up his life too. Now his son was here to carry it on. The King’s Man Cast
Gary and Harry will be back in their roles, as Harry was a mentor to the young Gary and the way he saved him from his mother’s special one, helped him out in a time of need.
Being the third movie in line, and with the idea of bringing “statesman” as a movie, we can expect a few known faces. Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, as Agent Tequila, Agent Whiskey, and Agent Champ, respectively.
We’re expecting a closure to the relationship between Gary and Harry which was showcased in the first movie… till then. We’re expecting the unexpected, just as usual.
