About The Movie
The Mule is about Earl Stone getting estranged from his family. He could not attend his daughter Iris’ wedding as he had a Horticultural award ceremony. He gets distanced from his daughter and gets divorced by his wife, Mary.
After twelve years, the older man visits his granddaughter Ginny to attend her wedding rehearsal. Later he gets spotted by a drug cartel and offers him a fair price to act as a ‘mule’ for transporting cocaine.
The 80-year-old Earl becomes the best Mule and receives a huge amount of money. He paid all his debts and gifts to Ginny for her wedding and college.
Later the DEA appoints Colin Bates to investigate the drug cartels. To find Earl, they find informants within the cartel. Later at his success party with Earl, Bates gets acquainted with him and receives pieces of advice.
When Iris calls Earl telling him that Mary is sick, he goes back and stays beside her till her death. He reconciles with his daughter and gets back to his family. Later the DEA catches him while resuming the delivery. He was sent to prison later. There he again gets back to his horticulture.
