The Resident is an American medical drama that is based on a book named Unaccountable by Marty Makary. This television series first came on the screens on January 21, 2018, and now, after all this love, we have finally reached the fifth season that came on screens on September 21, 2021. The Resident follows the track of Chastain Park Memorial Hospital staff members who are seen managing their personal as well as their professional lives. The Resident Season 5 Episode 4 Rewind!
Previously on ‘The Resident’ Season 5, we saw Conrad’s situation that seems heart-wrenching as he is still unable to believe that Nic is no more. He doesn’t seem to agree with all the speculations that are ruled out about her death. On the other hand, there is AJ and Trevor who get into some car trouble. The cop seems to stop the car just because of some backlight issue which seems to be vague to Trevor.
Besides this, as Conrad is digging deep into Nic’s Death case, he comes to know that she did not die of some brain damage but heart failure. He also gets to know she used to pass out at school many times back in time.
Then the scene switches to Leela, who talks about her experience while working with Doctor Kranepool, who seems to be bullying her throughout the operation. She confronts that many of the times; it feels like she has killed someone already. Billie also joined over for the talk. Randolph, who notices the mess that Doctor Kranepool is adding, makes him intervene in the situation.
Although, Kranepool feels agitated by this but cannot do anything about it. Here, we also get to know a new twist: Nic did not die even due to some heart condition as Gigi’s results are negative. The episode ends with Kranepool getting retirement.

Episode 5, named “The Thinnest Veil,” is based on Halloween as celebrations are going on all around. But there will be an emergency when Conrad has to take charge and send his team disguised as witches into the ER.
There will also be many superstitious stories rolling around as there is a patient who says that some ghosts are haunting him. So, let’s wait for the episode to roll out to know more about what will happen in the upcoming episode.
