Real or Scripted?
Apple TV+’s ‘The Sky is Everywhere’ revolves around a high school girl who recently lost a loved one. The movie is written by Jandy Nelson, based on a beautiful novel. After the loss of her mother, she decided to write a novel about her experiences and imparted her feelings into the character of her novel. Through Lennie, she shares her experiences of grief, love and all the other feelings.
Even with the novel being fictional, she related many real-life incidents to her novel. The loss of her mother, the relationship with her brothers and the friendship she had with other people inspired her to imagine and put the characters in her novel with different personalities of everyone. With the movie being inspired by the novel and with the characters being fictional.
We can say that the story is scripted and not precisely real. Still, it is no accident that this heart-touching story is not just a story written from a mind of beautiful imagination and creativity but also includes some of her life experiences. With the movie coming out, I am sure that many people can surely relate their lives or experience to some of the other parts of the movie.
