Although no formal description has been given by Netflix, we have a good notion of what the television show will be about. The Watcher chronicles a husband and wife; their plans to relocate into their ideal house are thwarted when they acquire ominous messages and warnings from The Watcher, a mystery predator.
Inspired on the true story of the Broaddus household, who had watched on, harassed, and eventually forced to abandon their house and flee the community they adored by an unknown harasser known only as “The Watcher” in messages addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Broaddus starting in 2014.
